Drielandenpunt,Vaals is around 10 km from the town of Aachen, Germany and is the meeting point of the three countries -Belgium,Nederlands and Germany.Aachen is a small town situated in the western corner of Germany bordering Belgium.Belgium is around 2-3 km from Aachen,which means a jog through the woods will take you to another country.A post on the jog through the woods is soon to follow.Drielandpunt (Via Vaals,Nederlands) can be reached through the local buses available from Aachen.It costs a meagre amount of 6 Euros for a two way journey.If you take a group ticket (5 members) you will end up even cheaper.Adding to the value you are free to travel on neighbouring towns like Heerlen, Kerkrade and Maastricht as the bus takes you to these cities.
